Agency
Awaken The Creative Agent
The course seeks to clarify you own unique personality type and personality strengths and how that aligns to activities you enjoy and are good at doing. We explore your values and match it against your strengths to form a mission statement to guide your life path.
We then seek to build a life philosophy for guiding your actions in support of achieving your mission.
This is the first module of the Life Design Certificate (LDC) because it clarifies your mission and philosophy. The rest of the LDC then builds upon this through an exploration of frameworks that will support you in achieving the best outcomes possible.
Some of the topics covered include:

- Crafting a Vision and developing a life philosophy.

Mindset
Developing a Growth Mindset
A growth mindset is one with a positive approach to learning and new experiences.
It is having the self awareness to be conscious of patterns of behaviour and the self disciple to challenge those behaviours and build new ones. It is having a hopeful spirit that believes change can bring new opportunities and the the ability to adapt behaviour to meet those new opportunities.
Such a mindset does not cling doggedly to the past and is able to self examine ideological frameworks and not get stuck in patterns of behaviours for there own sake.

Reflection
Cultivating Self-Reflection
A lot of our ability to change depends on our ability to become more self aware, tocalm reactive patterns we have and be more intentional in the actions we take.
This course explores some self reflective practices we can incorporate into our lives to build this awareness, become more calm and centered and harness our mental and emmotional energy in alignment to our goals.

Habits
Building Constructive Habits
Our habits make or break us. They represent our patterns of behaviour - which with intentional recognition and effort we can curb to align with different goals we have and achieve the outcomes we hope for.
This course explores how habits form and what aspects within the habit forming cycle we can leverage to build the habits we want to build (or replace).

Planning
Creating Strategies
In this course we explore how we can harness our energy and focus to support our creative output through goal setting and planning. The ability to be in touch with what we can produce under different situations and reliably produce necessary results is a powerful tool to nurture and refine.
The course aims to guide you through a goal mapping strategy, review the use of support structures to aid in tracking progress and implementing that within a 12 week work cycle for progressing 2-3 goals only at a time - over a short interval of time.

Relationships
Building Healthy Functioning Relationships
It has been said that the quality of your life is reflected by the quality of your relationships. And yet building and maintaining healthy functioning relationships is one of the hardest things many of us will face - and require constant re adjustment and repairs to re build rifts that inevitably appear.
In this course we explore some of the foundation aspects behind how we form attachment styles that impact upon how we approach relationships. We then look into how we can harness proven skills in the emotional intelligence toolbox to work with our own unique psychological quirks to support building healthy functioning relationships.
The main topics we cover are:

- Creating boundaries to protect a healthy relationship.
Communication
Effective Communication
Good communication depends upon your self confidence and practice expressing yourself clearly in ways that others respond to in a positive way.
There are underlying factors which influence your success (including your energy, confidence, practice and self belief) and we explore how to bring these into awareness for transformation.
We explore different practices and framework you can incorporate to achieve better communication success. Through journalling we explore how to keep track of progress and seek positive role modelling to improve your progress.

Movement
Increasing Dynamic Movement
Incorporating a range of movements for developing muscle tone, stamina, flexibility, fluidity and co-ordination is crucial to leading an optimal life. The state of your physical body has a powerful affect on your brain, energy and enthusiasm for life and acts as a cornerstone for making positive progress in life.
This course focuses on the practicalities of incorporating more movement practices into your daily life - when balanced against multiple competing commitments. Once habits are established they becomes self reinforcing and we explore how to hack this trend and stimulate it through novelty and play.

Nutrition for Longevity
In this course we explore how to support your health and longevity through a diet rich in nutrient dense wholefoods. We explore changes in our diet over time and how to obtain the most optimal diet in modern times.
We explore some of the ways in which diet negatively impacts health and what foods to avoid that create illness and a weakened body system.

- How to adopt a healthy eating lifestyle.
Sleep
Improving Recovery Through Sleep
Good sleep is vital for physical recovery and good brain function and yet with the mounting stresses of modern life - many do not get adequate sleep and as a consequence meet the challenges of busy lives stressed and fatigued.
In this course we explore some of the background behind the importance of sleep and how we can keep track of our sleep to get feedback on the success of different approaches. We explore different states of brain activity and how we can use that knowledge to create better balance in our lives and ensure we get enough rest and recovery.

In this course we explore how to be clear on what unique value distinguishes you from others. How thento develop strategies to devote more focused time to progress skill development in areas that support your creative output.
We investigate what the alignment between your passion, skills and market demand is which will create the sweet spot where you can focus on skill development. How to create momentum, remove obstacles and build disciple to enhance your creativity and productivity.
The goal is to utilise your strengths and interest to be in a position of strength where you are best able to produce works of value in the world. This will support the development of your confidence that then positively reinforces your continued progress.
