Our Mission
Our mission is to empower a network of ''regenerative changemakers" dedicated to embracing and applying regenerative design principles in pursuit of prosperous and fulfilling lives that harmonize with healthy natural systems. We achieve this by advancing education, research, and practical applications of regenerative practices, particularly in agriculture and environmental stewardship. Through these efforts, we support the transition towards sustainable living, fostering resilient communities and ecosystems for a better future for all.

About Regenpreneur
Regenpreneur is a New Zealand-based organisation that equips farmers with the skills and knowledge to implement regenerative agriculture practices. We aim to help farmers transition to sustainable systems that enhance soil health, conserve water, boost biodiversity, and ensure compliance with New Zealand’s environmental standards.
What We Do:
Our core programme, the Regenerative Farming Blueprint, is an online course that provides farmers with practical tools to restore their land and improve productivity. The course covers various topics, including soil regeneration, water management through Freshwater Farm Plans, and creating diverse ecosystems using biodiversity. Our programme aligns with New Zealand’s Resource Management Act and Emissions Reduction Plan, ensuring that farms meet both national and global sustainability requirements.
Aims:
We aim to support farmers in adopting regenerative farming practices that enhance the long-term health of their farms and natural ecosystems. By integrating business strategy, regenerative design, and compliance with sustainability legislation, we promote sustainable methods that improve ecological health, economic viability, and social well-being. Our courses enable farmers to tap into premium markets that increasingly value environmentally responsible products.
Track Record:
For over 8 years, Regenpreneur has worked with hundreds of New Zealand farmers through our Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) programme. Graduates have reported significant improvements in farm resilience, increased yields, and reduced input costs by up to 30%. In addition to our educational programmes, we provide guidance on aligning regenerative farming practices with Freshwater Farm Plans and market demands, drawing on our research and practical experience.
Governance:
Led by Richard Pedley, a seasoned educator and expert in regenerative farming, Regenpreneur operates with clear governance structures that ensure our programmes are aligned with New Zealand’s environmental legislation. Our collaborative approach draws on a network of farmers, scientists, and stakeholders. This ensures our courses are research-driven and address farmers' challenges, from meeting regulatory requirements to market positioning in a rapidly changing global economy.
