- We Are Currently in The Process of NZQA Accreditation of This Course and Aim To Launch Our First Cohort in July 2024
Course Goals:
By selecting creating a Freshwater Farm Plan as the outcome of the Regenerative Changemaker Certificate you will be focusing your studies on creating a functional farm management plan that can be submitted to councils to meet requirements of environment reporting and management on your farm. Participants gain comprehensive insight into crafting a freshwater plan essential for responsible water resource management and environmental sustainability in farming. Through discussions and study, learners explore strategies to evaluate water requirements, assess quality, and implement conservation measures crucial for farm sustainability. They analyze successful freshwater plans, understanding their pivotal role in sustainable agricultural practices. The design task encompasses creating a meticulous freshwater plan tailored to a farm's needs, emphasizing efficient water utilization, conservation methods, and ecological preservation. This task involves synthesizing knowledge gained to develop a detailed, actionable plan aligning with the principles of efficient water use and ecological balance within the farm's context.
