There are many approaches to setting up a glasshouse for an aquaponics system. These include many great kit sets that can be ordered on line and setup in a weekend, or extra solar rooms attached to the north side of your house (southern side in northern hemisphere), or you can get creative and build your own.
As ordering one online and setting it up is pretty self explanatory and modifying your home with a solar room in the realm of a professional builder - I explore here the design possibilities around rolling up you sleeves and having a go yourself. In the respect in favour a passive solar design utilising natural materials. This concept is explored in detail in the Eco Home course - but here we explore its application briefly to creating a functional glasshouse that can be incorporating (aesthetically) into the naturalistic wetland / pond setting you have hopefully created as part of the suggested aquaponics design.
